Christian fellowship at ECM
Our church stresses the importance of fellowship with our Lord Jesus Christ and with one another and an important part of our spiritual growth. Although our main worship as a church during the week is our Sunday service at 3:30PM, we gather for prayer and fellowship on various days during the week.
After the service
Our time of fellowship after Sunday service is probably our biggest gathering as a community during the week. We are a warm and welcoming community in Christ and this is where we get to meet newcomers as well as new visitors to the UK, including students and young adults. There is also a tradition among members to bring delicious home made snacks to share every week. This is our time to meet, chat and offer help to one another and grow as a church.
Care Cell
Care Cell is a prayer group that we organise on Thursday evenings. This is an informal setting where we either gather at one of our members' homes or online to worship, pray, share testimonies and discuss. There usually are two groups of people to allow for better engagement and members can join in either one of them.
Family Camps
We organise family camps, usually during the summer every year. This is a spiritual retreat where we can get away from our busy lives and spend a few days together, usually in picturesque country side accommodations and spend our time in prayer, discussions, worship as well as have plenty of fun and games.
Women's Fellowship
Our vibrant women members are known to organise lively, creative and friendly gatherings regularly. They pray for and support one another as well as participate in a range of fun activities, getting some time away from their busy family and professional lives.
Young Fishers Club
Young adults and students make up a large part of our congregation, with our church being conveniently located close to the city's Universities and Glasgow City College. Our youth fellowship, called Young Fishers Club organise and meet for fellowship regularly during the week.
